“Postsecondary education made a profound impact on my life. I am a lifelong learner who earned a degree at different times in my life. My college experience as a young woman opened the world to me; it gave me confidence in how I express myself. Earning a degree in my 50s challenged me to hone my time management skills to meet both course deadlines and professional obligations. There many skills I gained from these experiences that I still use to this day. “ -Sabrina Taylor Mitchell
